T. LeClerc Pressed Powder

The hotter it gets, the shinier my skin tends to get. I don’t know if the heat just brings out my natural oils or what, but come May my face tends to shine bright like a diamond. For most of the year, I can get away with just using oil-blotting papers for my T-Zone shine, but once summer arrives, I like to pull out the big guns.

There are so many good powder options out there, and they all serve their purpose, but when it comes to daily wear, my favorite is the T. Leclerc Pressed Powder. This magic-in-a-compact was created in 1881,  by renowned pharmacist, Théophile LeClerc, in the heart of Paris. That means they’ve had over 100 years to perfect this formula! This powder used to be super hard to get, and I’d have to stock up whenever I was in Paris, but now you can get it online too!

It’s super fine and delicate, and it creates a long-lasting, matte finish. Whenever I use it, my skin looks SUPER smooth, without losing any of it’s radiance. You can use a Beauty Blender, to really create coverage with it, or use a makeup brush to lightly set your makeup.
I also love using it to set my concealer. It’s a great way to cover up a nasty blemish, without having your whole face look “done-up”. Simply apply concealer and then dab a tiny bit of this powder on top to set it.
