The French are ALWAYS having a moment when it comes to beauty, hair and style. Caroline De Maigret’s wildly successful book How to Be Parisian Wherever You Are, has become a best-seller, and every day there’s a new French-it girl on the cover of a magazine, so I thought it would be appropriate to perpetuate this Francophilia by  taking a look at some of my favorite French beauty products!

La Roche Posay Anthelios

La Roche Posay makes some great skin care products. I recommend their Effaclear line to any client who is having acne issues, as it works miracles.  Their sunscreen, however,  is their piece-de-resistance, the crowning jewel of their skin-care kingdom!  It’s light, milky, and super absorbent formula leaves a silky finish that won’t make your skin break out.  It’s perfect for daily wear, and a definite must have for this summer!

Bioderma Crealine

I don’t know a single makeup artist that doesn’t swear by this magic makeup remover. It can remove even the most stubborn, water-proof mascara in seconds, and it feels just like water. It’s soothing, alcohol free formula makes it perfect for those with sensitive skin. This cleanser will help you get every last bit of makeup off, while balancing your skin, giving you that perfect French-girl glow.

Tonique Hydrantant by LEONOR GREYL
This moisturizing and vitalizing leave-in treatment mist is best for medium to coarse hair. It provides a beautiful balance of moisture especially in dry months. If you have coarse hair, this will help keep your hair soft and shiny – the perfect start to any style. The fragrance is light and doesn’t leave hair feeling weighed down. Another favorite of mine is their Huile de Palme.
