DIY Coffee Oil


It’s no big secret that I LOVE coffee. The taste, the smell- it’s simply the best. I know all you other latte-lovers out there agree with me. Well, coffee isn’t just for drinking anymore. It’s been making a splash in the beauty world for the last couple of years, and can be found in eye creams, shampoos, makeup— you name it.  The caffeine works wonders for your skin, with tightening and brightening benefits, as well as helping to reduce puffiness.

This DIY oil recipe is great to use as an under-eye treatment, a body oil, or even a hair treatment. It smells delicious and really works!



  • 2 table spoon pressed ground coffee
  • 1 cup Virgin Coconut Oil ( You can use any kind of oil really, but coconut oil has so many great benefit)
  • Fine mesh strainer or cheese cloth
  • Double Broiler (or alternative)
  • 2 Glass cups/containers
  • 1 small mason jar for final product

1. Melt the coconut oil on low heat.

2. Place the coffee in one of your glass containers, then pour the melted coconut oil ontop of it.

3. Mix the contents together, then place them in your double broiler.

4.  Heat on low for 2 hours, stirring here and there.

5. After 2 hours turn off the stove.

6. Let cool, then strain the infusion using a fine strainer or cheesecloth.

7. Once it’s strained, refrigerate.
