Alberto  Zambelli Crimp Hair

I got my first crimper when I was in middle school, and my hair was a beautiful frizzy mess of tiny crimps for weeks. It was such a look during the time, and everyone was rocking it.  Big crimped hair with lots of hairspray was such a thing! Maybe it’s because of that nostalgia that I totally loved this crimp look at Alberto Zambelli. It’s like the sleeker, sexier version of that 80’s/90’s crimp look everyone was rocking, and it’s so good. It’s also REALLY easy to do on your own, so read on how you can get awesome crimp texture!

TOOLS

1. Spray damp fine hair with a soft hold spray gel.
2. Blow dry using a flat boar brush pulling the roots flat and the hair as straight as possible.
3. If the hair is wavy or curly use a flat iron to smooth it.
4. Take one inch sections starting at the brow so the roots have a drag, and braid hair.
5. Leave about 2 inches straight at the end and secure with an elastic.
6. Apply a flat iron to the braids and tap strands till they are heated thoroughly.
7. Let cool and then remove the braids and gently brush out to blend the sections.
8. Apply a strong hairspray at the roots for flyaway and a shine spray all over to enhance the texture.
